Baltimore Oriole 5/9/24
These are some of the oriole shots I was taking right before I was surprised by the Bald Eagle which I posted earlier. I’ve been trying to get a nice shot of these guys because they’re just so beautiful. But they have been staying up in the trees, largely obscured by branches. And they’ve been doing a whole lot of chasing each other around (it’s springtime after all …), so every time I try to move into a clear line on one, another comes and chases it away. I finally managed to catch this one with a clear shot and some nice framing with the branches.
