Barrel of Joy
Barrel of Joy 5/16/23. I went out to the pier because someone had reported a whale nearby. I didn't manage to see the whale, but I saw a pair of surfers next to the pier and decided to snap a few shots. I managed to catch this guy getting barreled and boy was he excited! At the start of the series you can see that he can see what's about to happen. Shortly after Photo9 he let out a joyous holler. Photographic side-note - I think this may be the first time I posted a series where not a single photo was cropped, not even to straighten or for composition.
