Fleet Week 2022 Blue Angels practice session
It was looking pretty doubtful that they'd fly with all of the fog and low clouds, but they thundered out above the city. Photography was even more challenging than normal because of the fog and clouds. Often you'd hear them but couldn't see them until they popped into a small pocket of blue. Add in a strong wind blowing the lens all over and it was .... good practice for the photographer as well as the pilots. I haven't had a chance to look through all the photos - I just wanted to post a few to kind of kick things off. I'm going to try and get some more shots tomorrow. BTW, photo2 is just a close-crop of photo1 so you get a better view of the pilots.
