Fleet Week 2023 Fire Boats
Leading off the Parade of Ships were the San Francisco Fire boat St Francis and Concord Federal Fire boat Port Chicago. Unfortunately I didn’t get any shots of the rainbow effect from the spray. I was preoccupied photographing the other ships as they came under the bridge and missed when the fire boats went through the angle that produces the rainbow. On the positive side, I managed to catch the squadron of pelicans flying over as the fire boats went under the bridge.
