Kitty Kat vs Tripoli Fleet Week 2024
The Tripoli may be bigger, but the Kitty Kat is faster! As the ships were heading out to line up for the parade, I was amused to see the Kitty Kat out there with the USS Tripoli. The Kitty Kat is a San Francisco based whale watching boat which comes down to Pacifica somewhat regularly, and a number of local Pacificans have gone out on the Kitty Kat. They also regularly provide whale sightings to our local Pacifica Whalespotting group.
