Otherworldly 9/29/23
The sun went through a fascinating progression of tableaus during its descent through the clouds last night. I was out on the pier photographing the whales. I was really hoping that one of them would surface right in line with the sun. And son-of-a-gun, one actually did it. Unfortunately I was so enthralled with the sunset itself, I missed getting the shot with the whale. But I can’t complain too much, as I’m pretty happy with the shots I got. Normally I wouldn’t include so many photos of a single sunset, but each one seemed so different and interesting.
