Peregrine Falcons 2/26/25
I already posted the juicy shots of these two mating, but I wanted to also include a few of the other shots I got that day. The second shot is just a close-crop of the first shot, really showing off “the look”. I sure wouldn’t want to be a pigeon and see that coming at me! Most of the shots are of the female, in large part because she was out earlier and was perched closer, meaning less heat distortion and clearer shots. Gotta make sure the male knows if he wants more photos posted, he’s going to have to do a bit better next time! The last two shots are of the male and were mostly included because they give a reasonable view of his bands.
