Red-shouldered Hawk 1/30/25
It seems like forever since I’ve taken one of my photo walks along Mori Pt. Looking at my photos it’s been over 1.5 months, which indeed is forever for me. I was greeted by a number of friends, both feathered and human. Among the latter was teacher Jason from Ocean Shore school. We commiserated a bit - he with the Ocean Shore situation, and me having just been laid off yesterday. He said, “well, I guess that means more bird photos, right?” Yes. Yes indeed. Among the feathered friends I encountered today was this fine Red-shouldered Hawk. He was hiding in the trees along the levee, and I almost missed him, but a different bird was calling out and caught my attention, which led me to this beautiful bird.
