Rockaway Staycation
We needed a few days away from the house repairs, but wanted something easy and convenient. So we booked a couple nights at the Lighthouse Hotel in Rockaway. Even though it was just up the road, it was nice to get away. And the kitties appreciated that we could regularly come back and provide them some attention and food. We go to Rockaway a lot, but have never actually stayed there. It was nice and we had beautiful weather. All of these shots were from the room, except Photo3 which was from our table at Moonraker (and was also taken from my iPhone instead of my camera). I am a little curious about the tent out on the point (Photo6). It didn’t look like the same situation as further south with the homeless person living on the cliff. It seemed like a person camping. Is that allowed there? Just curious.
