Sunset 4/18/23

I was on my porch trying to get a golden hour shot of a yellow-rumped warbler who wasn't being as cooperative as I wanted. Then I noticed the sunset, which seemed to be behaving much better so I snapped a few shots.

And for those curious about the warbler, when I first saw it, it was sitting out on the end of a branch, beautifully lit by the setting sun. But by the time I went inside and got my camera, it had moved into the shadows. The light was already low, plus the shadows, and throw in some bright spots in the background …. doesn’t make for the best shot. But here’s what I got.
