Tule Elk, Point Reyes 1/22/24

On a rainy, foggy morning we ventured out into the Point Reyes park. The first residents to greet us were these Tule Elk. The lead up to Photo1 was a bit of taunting.
Photo2: Hey Fred!
Photo3: Thhhbbbbttttt!!!!
Photo4: Do that to my face George! Fred: Thhhhbbbtttt!!!!
Photo5: That does it George! En-garde!
Photo6: And that’s how you deal with insolence

I have so many photos from yesterday’s outing. It’s going to take me a while to sort and process all of the photos. Future posts will feature more of the critters we found, including bobcats, coyotes, badgers, owls, hawks, herons and probably a few more I’m forgetting. Huge thanks to my guide Daniel at https://www.pointreyessafaris.com/ - he was fantastic.
