Anna’s Hummingbird 7/2/23
I don’t post most of my hummingbird photos because all of my shots are chance encounter shots while I’m hiking, which leads to a large percentage being variations on the theme of bird-on-a-stick. This morning I stumbled upon this cutey having a morning snack. Unfortunately I only got a couple shots before a dog scared it away. I had been hoping to circle around a little so that I could get the blue of the ocean in the background, making it a more unique shot. Just in case it came back, I moved to the spot and waited a bit, but no luck.
