Elusive Three-eyed Owl - Pt Reyes 6/29/24

This pair of juvenile Great-horned Owls made for a pretty fun shot with their positioning. My sister and her family were visiting from Pennsylvania and she has lamented on multiple occasions that she’s never seen an owl in person and she loves them. I said, “I know a place we can go and a guide who is fantastic at finding critters - would you like to go?” She said, “Yes!” so I booked another trip with Daniel at Pt Reyes Safaris ( https://www.pointreyessafaris.com/ ). Sure enough, we found 7 different owls, a Bobcat, Tule Elk, coyotes, and a variety of other critters. Another wonderful day at Point Reyes National Seashore.
