We made our yearly visit to see the beautiful holiday lights and decorations at Filoli. Photographing Filoli’s holiday lights is always an interesting challenge. You’re shooting at night, but without a tripod and with lots of bright lights mixed with dark areas, and trying to dodge all the other people there. But the biggest challenge is trying to do things quickly enough that you don’t annoy your family and friends too much.
