Humpback Tail slap video 5/26/23. Today was another good day for whales at the pier. At one point one of the whales had tail slapped so many times I figured I had more than enough photos so I switched to video. I apologize that it moves around a bit - it's hard to keep a big lens pointed on target in the wind, especially without a tripod. But the big lens does afford a pretty nice, close-up view, so it's not a bad tradeoff.
